This was the final piece created for my solo show, Heavy is the Hand. A counterpart to my coffee table Torn Between, she embodies the journey of choosing to build a life true to myself—living fully for me despite outside opinions and influences. The single tear represents both the difficulty and strength in acknowledging those external pressures (the hands) and still choosing myself above all. This piece is a declaration of self-prioritization and empowerment. I. Choose. Me.
